I had to give Asus a long time ago with the X3D chips and their issues. This time I’m choosing not to use them at all. My new setup uses an MSI 670E Godlike motherboard, which is marketed as E-ATX compatible. The case I’m using is one of the biggest available: the CaseLabs THW10. Its motherboard tray is spacious enough to fit most E-ATX boards, except for this particular model. The first photo shows the tray misaligned on the left side, making it hard to line up with the back of the case. In the center, you can see the tray isn’t fully seated. The second picture is behind the case, revealing the tray hanging out by about an inch. I’ve secured it with a zip tie to prevent movement and pressure on the water lines—though that could be risky. Still, there are clear standards for motherboards, right?
It's disappointing to tell you, but EATX isn't a universal specification. Component dimensions are important… https://www.gamersnexus.net/guides/3566-...tx-eeb-ceb
