I just received an Akasa M.2 SSD using a PCIe adapter card. I've tested it with several different M.2 SSDs, but nothing appears. I'm using an MSI MPG B550 Gaming Plus motherboard. I've also tried Kingston M.2 NV2 PCIe 4.0 NVMe SSD (2TB) and Kingston M.2 NV2 PCIe 4.0 NVMe SSD (1TB). The adapter has a small blue light indicating power, but I'm unsure why this is happening.

Are you assembling the hardware yourself, or did someone provide a ready-made unit?

Are you installing both m.2 slots on the motherboard while attempting to add a third in the PCIe lane? If yes, it won’t work. Using the second m.2 port on the board turns off the second PCIe lane.
