No, I didn't do anything. What's on your mind?

Gnome isn't a distribution or operating system you need to install or own as part of your setup because of the wide variety of distros. BTRFS is merely a file system, and it's only been considered stable recently—how long has Microsoft continued fixing issues in their OS? (BTRFS remains actively developed) You have the freedom to build your own Linux version that you can manage entirely, something you can't achieve with Windows.

It's clear many parts often found in Windows aren't truly Windows-specific. Issues tied to NTFS are just file system quirks, not unique to Windows. Gnome is popular on Linux too—we both understand this. Avoid making excuses. Edit: Regardless, you can choose any component, any file system, or anything used in Linux; they all come with their own flaws.
