This page seems unclear, yet it suggests an option to upgrade older computers to Windows 11 via a link in the PC Health Check app.

Nothing has changed. It's been the same ever since Windows 11 came out, from the very beginning.

Yes, if anyone install W11 on an officially unsupported PC
via the PC Health App
, do please give some details. Rufus and registry edit methods have been around for some time, but this seems to be the first time that Microsoft app itself allows you to do this.

When Windows 11 is deployed on a device lacking sufficient system specs, a watermark appears on the desktop. Users might also notice alerts in Settings warning about missing requirements. This is essentially Microsoft signaling that the hardware doesn’t meet expectations. The presence of the watermark can raise doubts about the legitimacy or compatibility of the installed OS. End users should remain cautious.
