There are options for moving a Windows installation between drives. You can use paid or free tools designed for this purpose. Consider checking out utilities like Windows Installer Tools, Rufus (for USB), or built-in Windows recovery methods. Let me know if you'd like more details!

To ensure windows function smoothly without problems later, perform a clean installation. It’s simple and you can transfer files using File Explorer afterward.

I should act faster instead of later, since the longer I delay, the less likely I am to do it. Thanks Enderman

The updated version should recognize your additional storage devices automatically, even after you haven't formatted them.

That makes sense to me. It’s better to finish now rather than face issues mid-year. You might want to disconnect other drives during installation just as a precaution, but once reconnected they should appear normally. If you didn’t set a password, everything should be fully reachable again—just navigate through Windows Explorer as before.

Macrium Reflect - clone drive - free version - frequently talked about. Still, some forum experts keep repeating the same misunderstandings about clean installations and supposed future issues. Particularly our well-known "clean install expert." Dear Enderman, please give Macrium Reflect a try just once for testing purposes. Make it work right, verify everything, and prove to me that there are no problems with updates I’ve never seen before. It’s not that hard, especially if you’re aiming to assist others on the forum. Real experience is what matters most.
