I’m checking the setup of your old Dell OptiPlex 745. You’ve removed the hard drive, installed Linux, and are now transferring it to a new PC. Since you haven’t booted yet, you’ll need to follow the BIOS settings to select the new drive as the boot device. The process usually involves accessing the BIOS/UEFI, navigating to the boot configuration, and choosing your new hard drive. After that, you can proceed with installing or transferring the OS. Let me know if you need more details!

It could potentially help, but it's usually wise to replace the whole setup when switching systems, particularly after a big change. The newer components are designed for that purpose.

Here are the details: CPU is Ryzen Athlon 220G, GPU is GTX 1060, RAM is 8GB, storage is 160GB HDD spinning at 7200 RPM. I just need it to start up so I can install Windows 10 on a USB drive and then launch it. The Optiplex model has an overheating problem.
