Moving Games.
Moving Games.
So on Thursday I spent my paycheck on a case (300r), PSU (750), and an arctic mx-4—because being Alaskan is basically the only reason I picked it. For my latest build I was thinking about moving some games from my old laptop to a flash drive, so I could transfer them once everything was ready. Would swapping the motherboard and CPU affect gameplay? Since setup checks everything, or does the registry get missing bits? It’s not clear if this would work or if it’s better to wait. I’m curious since the internet connection is slow—about 0.8MB/s down and 0.15MB/s up. If anyone wants to see the build, here’s the link: http://pcpartpicker.com/user/Sfenerin/saved/dWwj4D. I ignored the 32GB RAM for fun. I’m leaning toward going with 16GB instead.
It will work properly. The origin will check the files and everything will function correctly.
Regarding Steam, yes—I’m planning to install 32GB of RAM and want fast load times. Does that work with any game you’re interested in?
It won't impact the game in any way. The files remain unchanged and the game doesn't alter the registry. Everything should function properly since I've transferred my game files across multiple computers. Be careful though—BF4 plus DLC is over 50GB. Unless you have a 64GB USB drive and some free time, it could take a long time. Make sure you put the game in the game directory in Origin or confirm it's pointing to the right location. It might still show the game as uninstalled. Just after clicking download, if it appears correctly, it should finish at around 100%. If it doesn't work, double-check the files inside Origin. Hope this clears things up.
That F4 download is kind of frustrating. Uploading a 7GB title usually means it takes a while—often 3 to 10 hours for me.
Yes you can. Also check this link to get the dlc working with bf4 http://battlelog.battlefield.com/bf4/for...035653452/
Since. I'm looking for everything. This might stay like that for about six years.
