Movement of the mouse triggering coil noise?
It operates solely via speakers or headphones. If you disconnect or silence any device functioning as a speaker, the audio output stops immediately.
The noise originates at the point where we link all the cables to the motherboard. I’m using a Z390 Aorus Master. I test every possible option. I disconnect all devices, swap hubs, do everything. Still nothing happens.
Hello, I have the same issue but with a laptop. The coil whine seems to come from the machine itself, even when the sound is off, and it likely isn't due to the mouse. My older, still-functional Razer mouse probably isn't the cause. It’s probably related to the laptop's motherboard. I don’t think there’s a simple solution for me, especially since all USB ports make the noise when the mouse is connected or moving. Also, note that the sound gets louder when I move the cursor over Windows compared to the regular desktop. If anyone has any insights, it would be great. This is really frustrating.
I think I found the issue — it’s the polling rate. I’m using two mice: the G900 and the MX Master 2. I understood the MX Master has a slower polling rate, which is why I didn’t notice any noise. Although I don’t typically rely on Logitech Hub, I installed it to adjust the polling rate and other settings. My initial rate was 1000ms. When I lowered it to 500ms, the whining disappeared mostly. I still hear some background noise depending on my PC’s activity, but at 500ms it’s not a constant sound while browsing in a quiet space.
