For roughly a month now, my mouse has been either lagging during gameplay or completely unresponsive, staying in one spot with minimal movement even when I swipe across it. I've switched to a new mouse and pad, verified the USB connections on my laptop, and confirmed the system can handle the games (Fortnite, Code, Overwatch) with its specs of an i7-2650h, 3050ti GPU, and 16GB RAM. Everything worked until recently. I suspect the issue might be software-related, possibly slowing down the CPU, GPU, or SSD to affect responsiveness. Task Manager shows no problems. The problem appears only in games, especially when playing Osu!, which runs smoothly on my system despite high CPU usage. If anyone has any insights, it would be a huge help. Thanks! I’m currently using a G502, but my friend with the same setup hasn’t had any issues.

Have you tried without Logitech programs? I personally use a MX518 and avoid the software since it introduces some input delay. Plus there’s a DPI adjustment built into the mouse, so I don’t need it. Also, working with a non-native DPI setting is more problematic than using the default.
