I’m trying to upgrade my games while working on Linux. I was thinking about using Steam, Origin, or Epic with Wine, but I keep getting page fault errors. I suspect these might be caused by Wine pointing to my wine C drive on Linux instead of the Windows install. Should I switch to the Windows C drive? Would that ruin my Windows setup? I’m pretty sure this isn’t a realistic idea.

It seems you're likely planning to repair or reinstall Windows. You may be able to execute the installation process within a VirtualBox virtual machine, but this depends on your drive configuration and installation settings.

Update game versions on Windows by enabling Steam Play and setting it for all titles, then installing the library for your Steam games. You no longer need to run Wine separately with Steam. It's also feasible to use SteamCMD to refresh Windows games from Linux. For more details, refer to the discussion here: https://gaming.stackexchange.com/questio...x-computer
