Move saved game data from the Windows application to Steam.
I've been experiencing Vampyr on my Xbox through Game Pass, and lately I’ve also purchased it for Steam. I'm trying to determine the best method to move my game progress from the Windows version over.
Update: I’ve explored the WinApps directory and couldn't locate a dedicated folder for Vampyr. Considering it was downloaded via the Xbox app rather than directly from the Windows Store, I suspect the save data might be located within that app’s folder. Examining the Xbox app files, I discovered numerous sizable files—all presented as single, unidentified file types—but without distinct folders containing individual save data or configuration files (like .ini).
The game’s saved games are located at this path: c:/users/username/appdata/local/avgame/saved/savegames/.
Since AppData is normally concealed, you must select "hidden items" within the “view” menu to access it.
The save file, along with a two-minute backup copy, is kept in this folder.
To transfer the save file to Steam’s format and then change its name, you would simply need to relocate it.

This directory contains both your save file and a two-minute backup copy.
To transfer the correct save data to Steam, you'll need to rename the file appropriately.
