Mouse sensitivity adjusts on its own.
When I move my mouse swiftly, the sensitivity shifts completely until I adjust the dpi to a different value and reset it. For instance, my standard dpi is 1500, but when I accelerate the mouse, it jumps to a much higher dpi. I’m not sure why this happens, and it’s really frustrating during gameplay. Also, please note, I have mouse acceleration disabled. My mouse model is a Corsair M65 Pro RGB.
Attempt to connect directly to the rear USB jacks on your motherboards without any hubs or case jacks. If a port fails, switch to another. My setup works by using the pass-through USB on the keyboard, but if that doesn't work, try connecting the mouse straight into the motherboard itself. You should be able to get it to function with one of these methods.

If it's a new mouse, it seems best to submit a support ticket.
Do you rely on ICue? In Icue, check the settings for the mouse and verify if the SDK is checked—this might indicate that mouse settings adjust depending on the game. Just a thought; it seems Kb colors can also shift with different games. DPI on the mouse changes unpredictably.
Another idea came to mind...
One of my mouse accessory buttons on the side is set for DPI.
I sometimes press it accidentally.
