You're curious about using your Logitech G502 with the game software for Far Cry. It's understandable to have concerns, especially since you experienced issues with older titles like GTA San Andreas. The problem you faced was related to input methods—your mouse wasn't recognized properly because the game only accepted inputs through Windows. This isn't necessarily a universal issue for all older games, but it can happen with certain titles. For Far Cry, the situation seems more stable, though compatibility can still depend on the specific version and settings. Just check if your setup matches the requirements and see if you encounter similar issues.

Removed the gaming program completely. Did you do the same with your G502?

No!!!! I don't want to uninstall the gaming software since I use it with my G29 to adjust the angle for gaming that doesn't support 900 degrees. Is there a workaround?

This problem might stem from the mouse not functioning in the game or your gaming software not working properly. You don’t need to stop using the software entirely; you can pause it during FC sessions and resume afterward.

It seems the game doesn’t accept input from the gaming software I’m aware of. Back then, games usually didn’t support alternative input methods. Only mouse control via the control panel worked, which is a feature that’s rarely used today. Logitech’s software seems to completely ignore that system, so I’m hesitant about installing anything I can’t actually use.

Are you certain? It doesn’t quite work for me. I’m not feeling like buying a new mouse just to play Far Cry. Have you tried it before? Also, you seem to have a lot of electronics.
