My friend uses a HyperX Cloud 2 headset and a Corsair M55 RGB PRO mouse. The microphone sometimes cuts out during certain activities, especially when streaming on Discord or playing Phasmophobia. It only stops after a few minutes of use, resuming once the program is closed and the device is plugged back in. The issue seems to occur with specific games like Phasmophobia and Halo MCC when using push-to-talk features. Testing with other mice didn’t resolve the problem. We suspect a driver-related issue, but updating drivers or resetting Windows 10 hasn’t fixed it. We’re looking for better diagnostic methods or advice from others who have faced similar problems.

Your friend appears to have a solid setup. It might be due to incorrect drivers on the platform, an outdated BIOS or OS, or a mix of all these factors. If the APU was used before the RTX 3060, you may need to remove the GPU drivers and reinstall the RTX drivers through an elevated command, such as right-clicking the installer and selecting Run as Administrator.

For your friend's platform, verify the BIOS version of the motherboard, the OS edition (if applicable), and ensure you run all relevant drivers in an elevated command. Also, provide the PSU make, model, and its age.
