and it's also true that using another mouse reduces the glitch frequency, while the first one works better on your laptop.

Remind yourself the update was several months prior. Verify if a new Windows update is still available or attempt to revert the latest install or use a USB hub to link your mouse and keyboard, since removing the driver didn’t resolve the issue.
