Motherboard supports WiFi but display doesn't appear in Windows settings.
You're new here. Your first PC for a sim racing rig is set up, but the Wi-Fi isn't showing up. You've tried resetting components using online guides without success. All drivers and the OS are updated, BIOS is current, and the Ethernet cable works fine. Just need the Wi-Fi to function too. Hardware specs: BIOS 7D78v152, motherboard MSI Pro B650-P, Wi-Fi ATX, Windows 10, AMD Ryzen 7 7700X, Radeon RX7900XT, EVGA 750 GT 80+ Gold, 32GB Gskill 6000 C36 FX, Crucial 1TB P3Plus Gen 4 NVNME.
Download the necessary drivers from the motherboard's official site. The AMD Wifi Drivers are available here: https://www.msi.com/Motherboard/PRO-B650...ort#driver
Timing was right, right? Just visit the motherboard site, grab the chipset and Wi-Fi drivers, PRO B650-P WIFI from msi.com.
Checked the motherboard support site for your board. The LAN driver isn't automatically installed on Windows.
Thank you for your feedback. It's understandable to feel unsure about driver installation, especially with so many options available. The error you're encountering suggests a potential issue with the AMD chipset driver, and it seems similar to problems you've faced before. Clearing the computer and reinstalling Windows might be a good approach if the drivers are corrupted or incomplete. Just make sure to back up any important data before proceeding.
