Your Gigabyte Z690 UD AX Rev 1.0 board can handle 2x16GB RAM at 6400MT/s, but not 2x32GB at the same speed. Upgrading to that configuration is possible, though you’ll need to ensure your motherboard’s BIOS and chipset support those speeds for the full benefit. Be mindful of power delivery and thermal management when increasing capacity.

Memory modules can operate at reduced speeds, just navigate the BIOS to adjust the desired frequency. The system accommodates 32 GB drives and officially handles up to 6000 MT, though this is regarded as overclocking. Based on my estimation, I’d consider 5600 MT/s a secure memory rate for that board.
