Hello
I purchased the MSI B360 Gaming pro carbon and an i7-8086. The motherboard doesn’t allow overclocking. Can I still overclock the CPU with a third-party app, or should I modify the motherboard?

The 8086K running at 5GHz with two threads isn't fast enough. What kind of programs do you usually run? Let the program suggest the best setup, like threadripper with an x399 card or a core i9 with an x299 card if you need a specific CPU count for something such as Corona Render.
