Motherboard Overheating
Motherboard Overheating
Hi, I own an Asus ROG G20aj with all original components and a clean interior. My motherboard temperature sensor shows it reaching 110 degrees. At first, I thought the issue was related to the GPU power supply since it uses a 240W unit running a GTX-750 2GB. After removing the GPU and restarting, the temperature dropped to 118 degrees. I’m pretty sure it’s just a temporary glitch, but I’d appreciate any advice you can offer.
This likely is. HWINFO64 provides the most precise and reliable sensor data available.
The sensor might have malfunctioned and is now providing incorrect data. The issue lies in determining its location to verify with another tool, which could affect CPU performance due to false readings. MacBooks experience significant issues when sensors fail.
Currently, nothing seems to be changing much, it’s working as planned. The only thing bothering me is that it’s still here...
I enjoy Afterburner, though there’s an issue with their website. I’ve tested it on four different computers, but all of them freeze when accessing the site.
