I received the Gigabyte B365M DS3H with these metal prongs, and I’m unsure about their purpose. Linus mentioned they might lead to a short circuit if they’re not straight. Can I remove them? Also, cutting them could increase resistance and make it tougher to install my motherboard.
They should be pressed gently against the ports without cutting into them. This ensures they remain secure as well.
