Hey everyone, looking for a good motherboard. I'm in Sweden and just checked out this awesome board: https://www.asrock.com/mb/Intel/Z790%20P...io/6-L.jpg. My build is https://pcpartpicker.com/list/WV6mKp. I've narrowed it down to a few options. Prices are in Swedish, but I'm curious about the ASRock Z790 PG Sonic - 3990. If it's decent, I'd love to get the ASRock Z790 PRO RS. Other picks include MSI MPG Z790 Edge WIFI, ASUS PRIME Z790-A, and Gigabyte Z790 AERO G. Thanks for the suggestions!

Zeker, ik wil het goed controleren dat het samenhangt met de rest van je onderdelen.

The only issue I noticed was the absence of Bluetooth or wireless connectivity, but I still used Ethernet. With this PC for about four years, I’ve mainly relied on 4G from my phone only a few times when the internet was down—usually once or twice. I’m assuming wireless peripherals like a mouse or headphones should work fine, such as Logitech G Pro. Thanks again for your support!

Yes, a quality PCIe wireless card works well for Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.

The list was reviewed carefully. A budget of 2000$ without a GPU seems unrealistic for a system with 13.7Gb RAM and 32GB memory. Some upgrades could be made to improve performance. Many boards mentioned are overpriced, especially if you don’t need extra ports or high-end capabilities. A price around 1400€ is reasonable, though still steep for components unless you require advanced features. The 5600C30 RAM is fine, but its low latency isn’t the main issue—DRAM speeds are limited by memory timings. It’s likely a high-end chip, promising future compatibility, but 3200C16 or 3600C18 DDR4 would be more cost-effective. You can save significantly without sacrificing too much look, just consider painting the CPU cooler white for a fresh appearance.
