Hello, what is the optimal motherboard budget for overclocking the FX 6100? Is the ASRock 980DE3/U3S3 R2.0 suitable?

I agree with clutchc. The ASrock board lacks heatsinks in the VRM area, which means it won't manage overclocking voltages well and won't handle them precisely.
I also have experience with the Gigabyte 990FX-UD3, which is a stable board with a solid VRM configuration for overclocking.
