I powered up my PC but the motherboard reported a CPU error. I removed the cooler and adjusted the lever, yet the CPU remained stuck. Assistance needed. (Resolved.) Edited March 19, 2024 by Cwt

No signal is being received from the pins, so the upload won't proceed.

If you've pressed the button, it's likely stuck. Gently try to lift it from the sides, for example near the upper right area, where a pin might be easier to remove.

No pins are bent on the motherboard, you're very fortunate.

When you reinstall the CPU, ensure the golden triangle aligns with a triangle on the motherboard. Additionally, verify that the two circular cutouts on the side correspond with matching holes on the CPU.
