The m2 slot on your laptop is compatible with certain models. Check the BIOS settings for your motherboard to confirm which M.2 devices are supported. Since you don’t have the manual, refer to the official Pegatron documentation or contact their support for confirmation. Make sure the device matches the BIOS version and model specifications.

It seems you're running a 5010u chip, which doesn't support PCIe 3, likely meaning it's just a SATA-only M.2 port.

SATA works differently—it doesn't fit. The motherboard's connector has identical pins as the Samsung 970 EVO Plus NVMe drive.

Sure, I'll rephrase that for you. Your board only accepts SATA over M.2, not NVMe. Since those models also come with an M.2 option, you can't use the 970. Just send it back and request a standard SATA NVMe drive.

The first is a M2 Samsung device. The second is a SATA connection. What port should I use? It doesn't match... or perhaps it fits.
