I’m working on finishing my initial assembly but noticed a pin bending on the USB 3.2 Gen 1 port (JUSB3) on my motherboard. It’s stuck in place, and I’m unsure if it’s necessary. The bent pin is only visible on the top panel of my case, where there’s one USB 3 port and a Type C connector. All other ports on the back work fine, but could the bending impact anything else? Regarding your concerns: will these bent USB connections affect your system’s performance if nothing is connected? Probably not, unless something plugs into those ports. As for the audio jack, I’m confident it should remain unaffected as long as no devices are connected. You can likely skip plugging in the USB ports without issues, especially since you’re using a case with a headphone jack that’s safe. Just keep an eye on the pin—if it stays bent, consider replacing it to avoid further problems.

I’m not putting in much effort for just one USB port on top of my case. I only use three ports and will definitely stick with the ones on my motherboard.
