Hey everyone! I’m glad you’re starting in 2019. I bought the Asus ROG Strix Z370-E gaming card about 3-4 months ago because it has Wi-Fi. Right now I’m checking if it’s actually working. Just connected it to my motherboard and wondering how to get it up and running.
Ensure you have the newest wireless drivers installed, specifically from Asus for your board. Once ready, locate the SSID in the network list upon connection and enter the password—your setup is complete. If using Ethernet, open Windows 10, click the network icon beside the clock (PC appearance), and choose the SSID. For wired connections, it will display a wired icon instead.
What models are you using? I attempted to upgrade your motherboard and downloaded files from Ausus, but there were too many files and it was unclear which ones to install.
You followed the instructions to install the driver from ASUS version 2023.79.601.2018, used AsusSetup, and everything proceeded smoothly until the Installshield wizard finished. Now you're unsure what to do next.
