Motherboard and PCIe enclosure support bracket
Motherboard and PCIe enclosure support bracket
The graphics card will occupy the second and third PCI-E expansion slots on the 280X. The first slot is reserved for the M.2 port on the motherboard, which won't be used. This setup matches the trend seen in most 2017+ motherboards, where Corsair and other builders anticipated this configuration when designing their cases. My Gigabyte Z390 Aorus Master motherboard follows the same pattern—its first slot is also left empty.
Should not be a problem. You still have a lot of space between the bottom of the case, and graphics card. Oh also, did you buy the ASUS B450 M -PRO GAMING motherboard, or the non-M version? 280X is a mATX case, so you need the 'M' version motherboard. Standard motherboard is 7 expansion slots long, while mATX is 4 slots long.
The updated version is ready! Appreciate the support. I'll be patient until it's available again—last time they were gone in just five minutes.
