MOTHERBOAD PROBLEM PLEASE HELP
MOTHERBOAD PROBLEM PLEASE HELP
Right, so I booted my computer today only to find that it did not boot into windows and instead took me to the BIOS where I am stuck. The storage device is coming up on the BIOS but it is not registering as a boot device so I cannot boot into windows. Any help would be great. My specs are Asus Tuf x570 gaming motherboard ryzen 7 3700x rtx 2070 super 1TB Samsung Evo 970 m.2 NVME SSD
Is the system running an operating system? Have you recently made changes that might affect it? Is the boot order prioritized as the highest option?
The operating system is set up on that storage device. I was able to access it yesterday, but it no longer appears in the boot priority list. I’ll forward a screenshot of the BIOS display shortly.
I only have one storage device, I’m planning a CMOS reset right now. I’m wondering if it might be related to memory speeds since AMD Ryzen Master updated them before this issue occurred. I’m not entirely sure, but I’ll try it.
If clearing CMOS fails, switch your RAM slots to A2 and B2. Turn on XMP in the BIOS to run at the advertised speed rather than 2133MHz.
