I don't usually play online games; they take too much effort which becomes monotonous. The latest patch doesn't help much, and the standard visuals feel quite poor. A mod fixes that by clearing fog and fixing color issues, but because the modified RPF files require an ASI script to work properly with GTA, the update stops scripts from functioning correctly.
What? Well, it isn’t the best-looking game, but it’s quite visually appealing. I finished the main story in about 60 hours and still play online with friends occasionally. There’s no real incentive to skip it—within the time I’ve spent online (under 10 sessions), I’ve acquired most of the weapons, built a nice house, and bought several cars. If the game didn’t have leveling, it would be less engaging, because I enjoy the satisfaction of earning rewards through effort.
I join online games with friends since it keeps things interesting. Vanilla visuals don’t appeal to me. What kind of world are you from? Here, GTA V offers decent graphics compared to other titles. How does GTA V’s visual style stack up against what you’re used to?
I just wrapped up testing and finished the mods, just backed them up. After the updates, I reinstalled them and everything ran smoothly on my 780 with 1440p and high settings. It’s really rewarding to play without any issues. I’m enjoying the game a lot and don’t think I’ll get bored anytime soon.
It appears well done but marred by distracting post-processing effects. I once had a mod that fixed it, and you’d love to see a game as if viewed through a low-quality lens.
I didn't realize it had chromatic aberration... it seems to be quite minimal since I feel sick or have headaches when games use it heavily (like in Dying Light). Just sharing my personal experience, but if it bothers anyone, I get it.
