You're experiencing a gradual increase in disk usage on your Windows 10 system, especially during startup. This could be due to background processes or updates consuming space. To stop it, you can check startup programs, disable unnecessary services, and ensure regular disk cleanup. If the issue persists, consider adjusting settings or seeking further technical support.

Sure, I'll keep it concise. The Samsung Magician update is likely complete.

I believe automatic updates are required and it's difficult to disable them in the home and insider versions. Each time I restart my computer, it shows "Updates have been installed."

It's strange how the system restore was running and using up a lot of space. I've turned it off for the OS drive now. I didn't notice it before. Thanks for your quick reply!

Your PC restarted and the system restore feature is active again. That means it was previously disabled, not that anything is broken.

Search for "Services" in the Start menu, then disable the System Restore service. This applies to Windows 7 but may not work on Windows 10.

A silly patch probably reset everything again. Forcing an update on Windows 10 was the worst experience I've had. It turned my $2,500 device into an iPad. Wow.
