Most exaggerated disappointment
I believe Warlords of Draenor had its clearest disappointment after the early numbers: when it launched, subscribers jumped by over three million, sparking excitement for classic horde battles. Many newcomers—especially those who hadn’t played before or skipped expansions—joined quickly, but most stayed only a couple months because the buzz faded once real content wasn’t delivered. Destiny also let down, though I never purchased it, so it didn’t hurt too much. Another disappointment came from Skyrim, which got huge attention and pressure to play, but the experience was short-lived; I managed just three hours before losing interest.
