Don't understand SLI much, but have you experimented with using it on a single GPU?

Unless you're facing several problems with SLI across different games, I wouldn't be too concerned. Two 980s remains a powerful configuration. I thought it could stem from an SLI issue because that's the only thing I can identify right now, while everything else appears normal. Since no one else has reported it, it's hard to tell if it's a hardware or software issue. I might revisit the avalanche test later and watch Afterburner closely. I'll likely switch to FXAA as Praesi suggested, hoping it will boost my frame rate here and there.

Of course because this is a new technic they used, the waterfall and avalanche was recorded on video and then stitched into the game. Maybe only SLI related.

I haven't experienced water problems, though occasionally the AA seems concerned, suggesting some censorship from the Japanese adult sector. By the way, I'm using SLI 970s.

It's clearly an SLI problem. I've tried it, and the AA performance is quite poor. It only works when rendered at 4K. Keeping a steady frame rate isn't possible, so I'm giving up until they update TXAA or something similar.

Yes, you can adjust the rendering settings to achieve a higher resolution while maintaining a consistent 1080p display, similar to what many modern games offer.

Search for Google VSR compatible with AMD cards and DSR support for Nvidia cards. Keep in mind, it may cause performance issues.

It's not a V-Sync problem—it's an SLI issue. I never use V-Sync.
