More traffic causes websites to perform worse over time.
Hello, welcome to the forum. I apologize if my post went into the wrong category. My issue is that the more I use a website, the slower it becomes. I noticed that using Crunchyroll was mostly smooth, but after a month or two I started buffering every 10 seconds. Then I switched to KissAnime, where I could watch everything in 1080p without interruptions at first. After a month, I dropped to 720p and now only 360p works. The same happened with Twitch.tv—I checked my internet speed on speedtest.net and it remains steady at 33 Mbps. I’m using Chrome, so I tried Internet Explorer (Windows 8), but the problem persists. I’m considering switching to Firefox, though I doubt it will help much. It seems that after reinstalling Windows 8 with a new SSD, I still can’t watch anime or games properly. Eventually, I run out of sites to stream. That’s all the info I have. If you missed anything, just let me know so I can post it here. Thanks!
I also added formatting to my storage settings during the Windows installation.
It was recently reported that anime is dominating the internet!
Consider fully reinitializing the router; it seems unlikely it would cause harm unless your configuration is overly complex.
