I've been examining older console specs and found the Xbox One uses smaller chips while the PS4 has larger ones. It's an interesting comparison, but it depends on what you're prioritizing.

Technically, adding more RAM chips to the Xbox could provide greater bandwidth.

Choose systems that use the fewest components, ensuring a minimum of two drives. For gaming platforms, focus on FPS scores and available titles rather than hardware specs.

We need more specifics to determine the effective channel count. The ranking and chip allocation per channel should be clarified. Additionally, the speed requirements must be addressed.

When specifications match, having more chips generally means better performance, as each chip shares the same bandwidth. I’m not sure how many memory channels are being used.

Unable to infer details from just the chip count. Required information includes chip types, bus width, organization, and system architecture.

On consoles there aren't separate memory channels since they share resources like a graphics card and then assign space as needed
