My system runs an Intel i5 6500 with 8GB RAM at 2133MHz, GTX 1060 graphics card, and a MSI B150m Pro motherboard. Recently, some friends introduced me to Comp Fortnite, but I’m struggling to maintain stable 100 FPS even at low settings. My CPU stays around 95-100% utilization, and my frame rate drops significantly—sometimes to 60 or less—which makes the game difficult to play. Since I can’t upgrade hardware, I’m wondering if adding more RAM would improve performance.
It seems the main issue is the CPU, not memory. Adding more RAM won’t make a big difference. Edited August 3, 2020 by nox_
