These options appear to be budget-friendly X870 boards, but they lack the standout features of the X870E. Prices are comparable to some B850 models, so there may be value in considering alternatives.

What I/O connections are essential? Just USB4 ports; otherwise there are mid-to-high range models such as the Pro RS WiFi with four M.2 slots.

Consider USB4 support for upcoming needs. The B850 Pro RS WiFi includes ALC897 and Wi-Fi 6E, which you wish to exclude.

The audio and Wi-Fi aren't working properly. The 6E problem isn't clear, but Alc897 seems to be fine. It's possible it's just a matter of usage.

It varies based on your requirements and budget for a motherboard. I chose the ASRock X870E Taichi because it met all my expectations, and I’ve decided ASUS isn’t my go-to brand anymore. Just review the spec sheets to identify what you need and proceed accordingly. My previous ASUS X670E ROG Hero was quite problematic, and since then it’s been my final ASUS purchase. Every ASRock board I’ve used has performed flawlessly, and their construction is top-notch in my opinion. I really enjoy my X870E Taichi—it’s been reliable from the start.
