Monthly Data Consumption Overview
Monthly Data Consumption Overview
Only a small amount of space? I’ve easily surpassed 2TB many times. I just keep downloading a lot, streaming back and forth, and so on. As someone who likes to experiment with servers and other stuff, I might end up using a lot of bandwidth without realizing it. Plus, I don’t have data caps, so I don’t feel any pressure about it!
I don't have a clear answer either, and I don't know how to measure it. My estimates are around 10gbs more each day, and 300gbs is a typical figure. Netflix and YouTube consume a lot of MBs, but it's good not to have strict limits.
I don’t face any data limits on my home connection, but I’ve noticed usage ranging from 300GB to 1.2TB each month depending on game downloads or other activities. My phone, even with an unlimited plan, only has 22GB and I’ve almost reached it several times. Currently I have 13 days left and have already used 18.7GB... I watch a lot of YouTube videos (with YT Vanced, so just audio) and it’s using a lot of bandwidth.
I don't usually monitor my bandwidth since I reside in a country known for its exceptional internet speeds and no data caps. Most ISPs here are happy to provide more megabits per second than your subscription allows, just to ensure you complete your downloads without interruptions. When the network isn't overly congested, standard limits apply—50 Megabits per second is my rate, and I often hit it frequently. Windows estimates I've used about 240 gigabytes over the past month, factoring in heavy YouTube streaming and occasional movie downloads. That seems fairly accurate.
Hey everyone! Those answers were quite intriguing. My friend regularly watches 4k films and music, monitors security cameras, plays online games, and still stays under the 1 TB limit. Probably means he’s doing quite a bit of heavy downloading to notice any real impact.
