Hello, welcome to the forum! I'm just starting out and looking for ways to improve my network awareness. My setup includes a TP Link TL-R600VPN on the wan, connecting to a Plex server and my router. My router hosts regular client devices and a Pi Hole. The Pi-hole gives me some insight, but I need better tools to see the Plex server and other devices clearly. I want alerts for suspicious connections, warnings about malware, virus detection, and the ability to scan clients remotely. I'm open to buying extra hardware or software if the total stays under $600. Could you share your ideas? I'm not sure if the TL-R600VPN offers hidden visibility options, but I'm a beginner with firewalls. Let me know your thoughts!

I'll look into the Firewall Blue or Gold options based on your WAN bandwidth needs. I've worked with them before and they offer a lot of customization while maintaining a user-friendly interface both on my machine and through the app.
