I'm just starting out with this stuff. I built my computer last week and have some questions about CPUs in general.
I have a Ryzen 7700 and an RX 6800. The CPU usually uses the stock cooler I was thinking of replacing, assuming temperatures would get too high. But since I have a good airflow case (AP201), I didn’t expect it to be a big problem.
The issue is that during games like Overwatch, it often reaches around 80°C, which isn’t what I expected for such a game.
Recently, when I was browsing Google Maps, zooming in and out caused temperatures to spike to 75°C at 25% usage.
It works fine in tasks like Cinebench, where it never goes above 80°C and matches the scores online.
Idling it’s about 50°C, but sometimes it gets higher, which seems unusual.
Could there be something wrong or is this normal for my setup?

I described my case fan configuration: the number, placement, whether it handles intake or exhaust, the brand and model, and the typical RPM range. It has good ventilation and airflow.

I own four fans—two under the GPU for intake and one exhaust, plus the stock AMD 7700 aircooler. The two lower ones are 120mm Corsair models, and the exhaust fan is also a 120mm unit included with the case. I appreciate the case's appearance and feel it looks good, but I'm concerned about the temperatures and wonder if something might be amiss.

put the bottom one as intake and top with back as exhaust because with your set up no fresh air come in also you dont have a front fan so you might start to look for another case with better air flow would be realy hard to game with this one without overheath of system .

The two at the bottom are the intake, don't you think the airflow here would be quite poor?

from the setup page on asus it appears crowded with limited room for airflow, as all components are displayed in a single photo of the case interior.

The exhaust is positioned at the top, correct? This setup has the power supply on the front side, which is quite unusual, with a cable linking it to the rear of the case. Is the PSU now positioned so that its fan draws in cool air from outside or warm air from inside? I don’t think the case is designed with a front intake, but you might be able to adjust it by moving the power supply up or down. It can be mounted at three different heights, so choose the one that works best. As far as I understand, 80 degrees on Cinebench would be manageable.

The PSU expels cool air indeed. I attempted to install a fan in front but couldn't, so I added another at the bottom which affects airflow around the GPU.

remove the fan beneath the GPU near the rear and apply it on top to the bracket close to the front where the PSU is located. Check below the PSU; if the temperature remains high, consider using an intake fan in a different configuration.
