Monitor wont turn on
Monitor wont turn on
I own a brand new Alienware 27 4K QD-OLED Gaming Monitor - AW2725Q. However, it won’t power on at all, even though the Alienware lights are working. It’s unclear if the monitor is dead or if the power supply isn’t providing enough voltage.
I also have a 650-watt high-end EVGA power supply paired with a new RTX 5070 Ti graphics card. The setup requires three plugs, but my PSU only has two.
Additionally, I purchased an expensive 850-watt PSU in the hope it would solve the issue, but the monitor still won’t turn on. I’ve tried connecting both the computer screen and the graphics card plug in, but nothing happens.
Update: One monitor works while the other does not. The Alienware 27 4K QD-OLED Gaming Monitor - AW2725Q seems to be completely unresponsive. Both monitors are new.
Your PC's power supply isn't related to your monitor. The monitor operates independently with its own power source. Make sure it's connected and press the "power button" on the screen. If everything is connected yet you still don't see any power indicators then either the monitor or its power block may have an issue.
