Hi,
My monitor is ASUS VG249Q. When I use my monitor for a longer period, I get this weird problem. Sometimes it repeats itself after few seconds of normal behavior. I changed my DP cable, used HDMI same issue comes. I even tried monitor in a different PC.
Is this a panel issue? I have 3 years warranty. It's not even 1 year after buying this monitor.

Thanks.

Come to the forums, newcomers! If the problem lasts on many systems, it's likely your panel is the main issue. Does lowering the refresh rate fix the problem?

Yes, the problem continues to occur mainly when using the monitor for extended periods. I haven't adjusted the refresh rate yet. However, on the display surface, from the top to a few pixel lines down, the pixels appear embossed or similar. If the issue improves with a lower refresh rate, does that suggest my panel should be replaced?

3 year warranty, start by contacting ASUS. They might handle more detailed troubleshooting. If you're concerned about losing your monitor temporarily, you could demonstrate the issue to them and they can arrange a replacement before sending the new one. They rarely do this.

Thank you for your response! I purchased it from a local store in my country. I sent it back for RMA. I spoke with the RMA manager, as this problem occurs when using the monitor for an extended time. He mentioned they would test the monitor for about two days to determine if the issue persists. If the same problem is found, they will arrange for a replacement.
