After a recent surge in energy at home, my computer and screen shut down. When power returned, my PC started but the monitor failed to show anything. I've swapped out various cables and tested them with my PS4, which all function properly. Plugging the PC into another monitor produced the same issue.

Remove the CMOS from the motherboard for 10 to 15 minutes, then reinstall it.
