Monitor Overclocking
Monitor Overclocking
Hey everyone, I'm trying to overclock my monitor using Radeon Settings. Should I only adjust the refresh rate in the Custom Resolution or also modify it in the Display Settings of the desktop? Because when I set the custom resolution to 75hz and change the refresh rate in the Monitor and GPU properties, it shows an error. Do I really need to tweak the refresh rate in the properties, or can Radeon Settings handle it on its own?
Hey everyone, I was adjusting my resolution to 1280x768 for default settings, which works fine. Then I tried 1280x768 at 75hz, but whenever I change the refresh rate, the resolution drops to 640x480. I just want to test 75hz consistently.
Ensure you're using the HDMI connection on the monitor first, then gradually increase the HZ in your driver by two at a time. If you notice distortion or an out-of-range warning, lower the HZ by one until the image stabilizes. I had a monitor that only supported 66Hz.
