Temperature of 97 degrees is not typical for rendering videos in Premier Pro on a high-performance power plan. After lowering the CPU temperature to around 50 degrees with the cooling pad, it seems your setup is stabilizing. Your HP Pavilion LAPTOP with Ryzen 5 5500U and 16GB RAM should handle rendering well at this setting.

In a compact laptop where heat management isn't a priority, it's normal to see elevated CPU temperatures. The most effective solution remains using the cooling pad if temperatures remain high.
