Monitor Can now handle 75Hz
My Monitor, the Samsung Syncmaster 226BW is a standard 60Hz monitor. I found EVGA Pixelclock which boosts your monitor to any desired frequency. I attempted 75 and it worked, but anything below 67 didn't. After some time, I tried 75 again and it's been stable at that speed for six months. My question is why it can now handle 75Hz while it couldn't before. Resolution is 1680x1050. I haven't upgraded the cables or any hardware.
It might be anything—like a fresh update to the pixel clock or simply a malfunctioning screen. That’s a solid character concept for this kind of monitor, and I’ve always dreamed of pushing my graphics beyond limits without trying.
