Several game developers allow their content to be used in YouTube reviews. Be aware of copyright rules and licensing terms. For your PC component review channel, focus on official assets or use short clips with permission. Understand what’s allowed versus what might require approval.

Typically developers, except for a few such as Nintendo, let you do this. Square Enix offers something similar if I remember right, but otherwise it's fine. Just ensure you have a Google AdSense account—you’ll need to be over 18 to set one up.

How many subs and views do you possess? If you join a network, they can assist you.

Consider allocating a meaningful share of your earnings for this. The majority, except for Nintendo, permit you to use game footage from your reviews and typically the CGI trailers they release before launch. If you have concerns, sending a brief email with your channel name, the game in question, and details about your videos can help resolve any issues. They’ll respond, ensuring you’re protected if needed.

Build a solid audience first, then attract sponsors. Not every situation is the same.

Typically there are no issues. Even if audio plays and gets flagged, the video might still be active, but all future ad revenue from monetization will go to the claimant rather than you. You receive a message like "This isn't a Warning, just a heads up," followed by another similar notice stating you only get the video and nothing else.

Occasionally the applicant isn’t the official copyright owner and has no rights to the content, yet there’s a risk those who challenge it won’t verify their claims or file a rebuttal (remember YouTube doesn’t verify copyright assertions or any other type of claim either).
