It remains quite risky to let this happen. Unless moderators make selective choices about which games are highlighted. I don’t want to end up joining the forum tomorrow and having all 16,000 game patches from yesterday listed in the news section instead of the gaming section. That’s purely my view. It would be a lot of effort for mods to sort it out.

It seems the older and newer versions emphasize different priorities. I believe the emphasis on generating a lot of content could turn into a drawback, as constantly pushing more material creates more "noise" than meaningful expansion. Not everything is negative, though—there are still some enjoyable features and elements. Sometimes I think modders excel more in storytelling or mystery compared to the broader updates in Minecraft, such as when Yogscast was active.
