Looking for someone to help with starting the modding process. I'm planning to use a Win 7x86 ISO and load files from a Win 10x86 ISO. The goal is to set up a 32-bit Windows 7 installation on a GPT disk using UEFI. I'm not entirely sure about all the steps but I'm eager to spend my free time on this next week. Any suggestions or advice would be greatly appreciated. This is mostly for learning, but I'd love to get it working if possible.

There exists an official MS utility that lets you tailor every aspect of installation, including the selection of GUI or its absence. Begin exploring at the provided links: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows...s-you-need, https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download...x?id=38794, https://www.diamondsystems.com/files/binaries/ARIES WES7 BSP Manual 7480740.pdf, and the WES7 introduction document.

Here’s a clearer version of your thoughts:
You’re interested in creating a custom ISO that lets you configure the OS exactly as you prefer, without altering essential components. You’re considering transferring system32 files from Windows 10 (x86) to Windows 7 (x86) since EFI booting is supported on Windows 10. I suspect it won’t be straightforward, though. Right now, you’re using Hyper-V for easier visualization before diving into the BCDboot commands.
