Hey there! I’m thinking about diving back into Skyrim again. I’ve played it before, but I’m excited to try it once more with some awesome mods. Are there any simple-to-install mods available? I’m looking for ones that offer automatic installation or are super straightforward. I’m mainly interested in visual tweaks and extra side stories, while the main quests are fine as they are. I don’t want a huge collection of mods, just enough to make a noticeable difference. No voice acting customization is okay—I really prefer realistic sound effects over studio-quality voices. Thanks!

Nexus adjusts the environment to locate available mods and includes a tool that simplifies installing them.

Consider trying the 'skyrim redone' mod. That's the only thing I'm aware of.

Review the mod requirements carefully; many will need extra mods, tools, or utilities. Also keep an eye on loot—Skyrim mods typically load in a specific sequence, and loot will manage it better than just relying on NMM.

Sure, I'll give it a shot with NMM. If that fails, I'll move on to loot.

I haven’t run into problems with nmms sorting, but I grabbed loot just in case. I also run through 83 individual mods, so I’m going to use it to give it the best shot at staying intact.
