Hello Everyone, I’m looking for Fallout 4 PC mods that don’t give me OP status or involve cheating. Please include a brief description for each mod when listing them. Also, should I get my mods from Bethesda.net or Nexus Mods? Thanks, Itchy

Here’s a revised version of your text:

These are some of the modifications I rely on (just checking my NMM):
Animation: Lowered Weapons – Ensures you don’t constantly point your weapon when it’s not in use. Right-Handed Hunting Rifle – Places the bolt on the right side and alters the animation. Armor: Armorsmith Extended – Useful for adding ballistic weave to any under-armor you prefer. Re-sized Ushanka – Adjusts the fit so the Ushanka matches your head perfectly. The default version looks quite off in my opinion. Companions: Everyone's Best Friend – Allows using Dogmeat and another companion simultaneously. Originally designed for the game. Modders Resources – Might be needed by other mods. AWKCR – A resource hub for modders. Some mods depend on it. User Interface – Improved descriptions help clarify what each weapon modification does. No more vague phrases like “Better range, Exceptional recoil.” Valdacil's Item Sorting – Renames items to make sorting easier. BEST works with the next mod. DEF UI – Offers clear visuals and helpful information. Improved Map with Visible Roads – Enhances navigation. Better Dialogue Interface – Replaces repetitive “Yes, No, Sarcasm, Question” prompts. Visuals & Performance: Chem Redux – Provides unique textures for each Chem. Orange Mentats feature an orange label. Insignificant Object Remover – Cleans up debris and can boost performance in certain areas. Dynavision – Offers dynamic depth of field that’s fully adjustable. Darker Nights – Adjusts nighttime darkness to your preference. Enhanced Blood Textures – Improves Blood model quality. Vivid Fallout – Adds more detail to textures, making them look better. Weapons: PreWar Binoculars – Lightweight binoculars ideal for stealth. Better Artillery Signal Flares – Fixes the issue where artillery flares don’t travel far enough. Angry Artillery – Reduces wait times before firing, making it less risky. No more waiting 20 seconds for an artillery shot. Most of the time, I’d attack much sooner than when the artillery even begins. If you’re curious about more mods, check out Gopher or Oxhorn on YouTube. Gopher is created by the Dynavision author and features a “Mod Vault” series showcasing various mods. Not all are compatible with lore or non-cheating rules, but most are enjoyable. Oxhorn is gaining attention but isn’t widely known yet. He produces quality videos about his favorite mods for each faction and prefers lore-friendly, fair play mods. I agree many of these are quite useful.

Sypran addressed the key points effectively. Additional suggestions include:
- Faster Terminal Displays – Enhances menu visibility and navigation speed on in-game computers.
- No Essential NPCs – Enables all NPCs to be killable.

I completed that task this morning. I invested nearly three hours there.
